Samsung, the south korean tech giant never leaves any chance to surprise their users and this time samsung has bought a surprise for Indians as well by launching their first phone in India with triple rear camera setup at the back since, camera setups in smartphones are becoming an anticipated feature and looking onto this samsung launched their triple camera smartphone in India so, without any further a do let's discuss about the phone itself. So, first of all let me clear that it is not a flagship and it is a mid ranger device from samsung which belongs to samsung's A series mid range smartphone and it is the latest mid range smartphone from samsung and it is Samsung Galaxy A7 [2018]. Now, let's get straight into the specs.

Display and Software -

 The device sports a Full-HD+ Super Amoled 6.0 inch display which has a resolution of 1080 by 2220 pixels and has an aspect ratio of 18.5:9 which is decent enough by mid range standards and has natural colour reproduction and good dynamic range. Talking about the software, the Samsung Galaxy A7 runs on android Oreo 8.0 along with Samsung Experience 9.0 on top. Samsung at least should have given Android 8.1 noting that Android 9.0 has been launched, But samsung has never been quite fast with updates.

Hardware and Camera  -

Talking about the hardware, Samsung galaxy A7 [2018] is powered by samsung's owned Exynos processor which is Exynos 7885 octa core processor clocked at 2.2Ghz. It comes with two RAM and storage options - 4GB RAM / 64GB storage variant and 6GB RAM / 128GB storage variant. Also, The internal storage is expandable upto 512GB and samsung also allows users to install apps directly to microSD card. when it comes to graphic processor, it has a Mali-G71 MP2 gpu which is powerful enough to handle graphic intensive games like PUBG and Asphalt 9. Now let's talk about camera, which is the main highlight of this phone. It packs in triple camera setup at the rear, Of the three cameras, one has a 24-megapixel with an f/1.7 aperture, the second camera is an 8-megapixel 13mm ultra wide lens with an f/2.4 aperture and comes with a 120 degree field of view. And third camera is finally a 5-megapixel depth sensing fixed focus camera with an aperture of f/2.2. Talking about the front camera, it has a fixed focus 24-megapixel camera equipped with an LED flash.

Battery and Other Features -

The device packs in a 3,300mAh battery under the hood and battery life should be decent enough considering the fact that it has a power efficient processor and Super Amoled display. Other features include 4G VoLte, dual band Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS GLONASS, Beidou and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Also,its the first samsung device whose fingerprint scanner has been positioned on the lock button and position of the volume buttons remains same. The phone is 7.5mm thick and measures

First, let's talk about pricing, Samsung Galaxy A7 [2018] 4GB RAM / 64GB storage variant is priced at Rs.23,990 and the 6GB RAM / 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs.28,990. Now talking about the competition, where rivals like Asus Zenfone 5z and Pocophone F1 exist in the market which provide bang for your buck.
